Get a Free Infant Car Seat with Healthy Blue

An infant car seat is not just for comfort — it’s for the safety of your little one.
We all know how important it is to buckle up for safety while driving. This is especially true for your infant. Your baby needs to be placed in a car seat from the moment he or she comes home from the hospital.
That is where Healthy Blue comes in. We offer eligible moms a way to snag that free car seat for your tiny traveler.
Here is what you need to do to get a free car seat through Healthy Blue:
Make sure you are a member of Healthy Blue Medicaid at the time of your baby’s delivery.
You must go to 11 prenatal visits. Prenatal care is the health care you get while you are pregnant. The first visit must be on or before the 14th week of pregnancy.
NOTE: It may take 4 – 6 weeks for claims processing and for records to show you were an active member at the time of delivery and that you attended 11 prenatal visits.
When you are ready to get your infant car seat, this is how you can redeem it:
Step 1:
As a member, log into My Health Toolkit®. This can be through our website or the app on your phone or tablet. In My Health Toolkit, look for the “My Plan & Benefits” drop-down. You will see “Extra Benefits Hub.”
Step 2:
Click on the “Extra Benefits Hub.”
Step 3:
Click the request button. Then follow the steps to ask for the car seat. Wait for the reward tile to show at the top of the page so you can finish your order. Note: If you do not have the option to request the infant car seat, click the “Learn More” button and follow those steps.
Step 4:
Click “Redeem” for the infant car seat. Then, put in your own info and shipping address (no PO boxes). Also, make sure you have the correct email address so you can get the tracking information.
Step 5:
Click next and check your info. If all looks right, click submit. Note: Your infant car seat may take 5 to 7 business days for delivery.

What if I don’t have internet service to get the car seat?
Call Healthy Blue Customer Service at 866-781-5094 (TTY: 866-773-9634). They can get you connected to someone who can help.
What if it says I can’t redeem a car seat?
You need to check the requirements to make sure you are qualified. Click the “Learn More” button and follow the instructions.
What will members see in their Extra Benefits Hub?
Members will see all the extra benefits Healthy Blue offers. If qualified, you will see a “Request” button. This is how you know you can get the benefit. If you do not qualify, click the “Learn More” button to get more details.

For qualified members, Healthy Blue offers diapers for babies, an electric breast pump for new moms, Sam's Club membership, youth club memberships, Blue Book Club where you can receive a gift card to get books for your baby and more.
